Good nights sleep

The day started off pretty great. Joshua slept from midnight until 7am so I got a full nights rest so I was pretty ecstatic about that. Benjamin woke up and wanted to eat breakfast in mommys room so that's where he hung out while I was getting ready for the gym. It was the breakfast of champions today... pop tarts! He insisted on taking his blocks in the car with him. Today was my first Zumba class and it was AWESOME. It definitely kicked my bum but I had a blast! My face was sooo red and that water tasted oh sooo yums! Benjamin enjoyed his nacky and juicy on the way home... ...and Joshua enjoyed his nap.

Nothing too exciting happened the rest of the afternoon. Just the usual lunch time, nap time, and me cleaning the house. Dewayne came home and we had dinner then it was bath time for the boys. Joshua was making crazy faces at me while i was bathing him then he decided to pee all over me. After bath time Joshua was practicing his balancing skills. He thinks he is the poo because he can stand up holding mommas hands. He is getting so big!!! He can sit up straight in his jumperoo and actually play now.

Benjamin was showing momma his 'cool trick'. He can hold a spoon on his nose... with his hand. That's unbelievably difficult, I know. He thinks he is doing something cool so that's why it's so damn cute.About 10 minutes later he was a cowboy.

Before bed time we decided Benjamins room was in major need of a cleaning. He decided it would be fun to dump out his toy box. Dewayne and Ben in the process of cleaning...And the finished product!!! ahhhhh the great feeling of cleanliness!Time for bed after that. Both boys are asleep and now it's time for me to head to bed. I'm still wore out from Zumba this morning!!!

Brotherly love...

So today was yet another lazy Sunday. We pretty much laid around and did absolutely nothing all day long. The boys were loving all over each other though. Benjamin was snuggling up to Joshua on the couch and it was the cutest thing!

Benjamin then decided that Joshua needed his bottle but informed me that it was ennty. Translation: ennty - empty. So I get Joshua a new bottle so Benjamin can feed HIS baby brother.

Poor Joshua is taking a little bit of a beating in the process. Benjamin drops the bottle quite a few times.. but it's still adorable and Joshua didn't seem to mind much.

After Benjamin is done feeding Joshua ( his idea of feeding is like 15 seconds) it's time to play. Benjamin was being so gentle with him, I was sooo proud!
After hours of not much of anything Benjamin decides he needs to fix brothers jumparoo. So he breaks out some little gadget ( im pretty sure it holds his microphone onto his keyboard) and says its his hammer. He hammers away at the toy for a bit and then breaks out the screwdriver. He was sure doing some serious work on the jumeroo! My lil handyman!!! We all get cozy on the couch and Benjamin decides to smell everyones feet ( I have know idea why). After each time, he makes this face, gags, and says shooooie. It was pretty damn hilarious. Just another one of those 'you had to be there' things.

After some serious begging I talked my hubs into going and getting my favorite fast food... POPEYES!!!!! I was so lazy I didn't even want to cook dinner. So I was super excited when he actually went and got it. Mmmmmmmmmm just look at that yummy goodness!!!!
I'm pretty sure he was a little upset that he wasn't getting any Popeyes...

Before we knew it it was dark out and almost bed time. The boys played for just a little bit longer with the jumparoo. By the way Joshua can touch the floor in it now!!! My baby is getting sooo bog!!! : (

Before we could get some new pjs on Ben he was knocked out on the couch. Poor little guy was pooped from a full day of nothing!!! Joshua was out cold in his jumparoo. My kids can fall asleep anywhere!So once again nothing to exciting to be told. Just a lazy sunday at home with my boys. Now Ben is comfy cozy in his bed, Joshua is comfy snuggled up to his daddy in bed, and I'm heading there now.

Lazy Day

The day started off lazy for everyone. I got up and out of bed but all my boys were being lazy butts. Dewayne and Joshua were still sleeping and Benjamin wanted to lay in bed with them and watch his tooneys. That is Joshuas head there in the middle.

Everyone finally decided to get up and out of bed and join me in the living room around 1pm... about time!! Joshua looked well rested! He should be after keeping momma up all night, he got to sleep all morning and afternoon practically.

We didn't have anything planned for the day so Dewayne decided to clean out the garage. This is the before picture. I didn't get to take an after picture because it's still not finished... pretty much what I figured would happen because that garage was a MESS!!!!! So I'm hoping it gets finished tomorrow.

After a long day of nothing it was time to start dinner. I made Kielbasa, rice, and french fries. It was yumms!! I had an audience while making dinner... Joshua watching me on the kitchen counter. Apparently he lalalaloves watching momma!!! It kept him quiet for about 30 mins.

While dinner was cooking Benjamin was fiddling around the house. He came across a pencil and a clothespin and made some sort of contraption out of it. I still have no idea what he was calling it but he sure was having a blasty blast with it! No complaints here because that kept him quiet for a good bit of time. :)

After dinner Dewayne went back to work on the garage some more, Benjamin rode his bike out front a little bit, and Joshua and I hung out on the couch while I checked my email. Uncle Josh stopped by to visit and check his email for a little bit. After Benjamin was done his bike he wanted to play out back with his ball so out back we headed for a little bit. He found two ping pong balls out there and called them his apples. Gotta love my kids imagination!

While me and Ben were outside Joshua was napping inside listening to soundscapes music. I have no idea what he was doing with his hands but it totally reminded me of the 'bend and snap' from legally blonde.

After Benjamins playtime outside (digging hole sin my yard) and Joshuas nap it was bath time. So I gave Joshua his bath and dewayne gave Benjamin his, that's our usual routine. Joshua had been pretty cranky but as soon as I got him in his tub he was as happy as can be. Benjamin just flat out loves bath time.

After bath time its time to wind down. Benjamin informs me that "he needs a nack" so nacky time it is. Translation: nack - Snack. So Benjamin got his snack and cuppy and settled on the couch to watch some tooneys before bed.

Joshua had his bath and bottle and was spent so he snuggled up to daddy and passed out for the evening!!! Now both boys are fast asleep, Dewayne is playing his xbox, and I'm messing around on the computer. Off to bed soon... I enjoyed my lazy day!

Just another gym day

Well im a day late on this blog... i meant to write it last night before bed but we had friends over and it got too late so i am gonna go ahead and do it today.

Yesterday was a gym day so me and the boys got up , got dressed and had breakfast. I did what i said i would never do and dressed the boys alike *snickers*. They looked so damn handsome so mommy made them take a picture together!!! After that off to the gym it was...

We got to the gym and I took the boys to the daycare. Ben had a small meltdown but he survived. I worked my butt off and got all nice and sweaty. I went to grab the boys and Ben was playing nicely with a little girl there. He saw me and screamed "MOMMY!!!! you done work now!!!" It was so cute! We leave and get all strapped in the car and ben gets his snack to eat on the way home.

I'm super excited I have the weekend off from the gym... see my super excited expression...
We get home and it's lunch time so Ben and I make PB&J sammiches. He likes to help and does a pretty good job of it.

So we all eat lunch and watch tooneys. I think Joshua is a little upset that he doesn't get any "real food" but he drinks his bottle anyway.

After lunch it's off to the PX we go. I had to pick up a few things and we weren't there that long so both boys behaved. Yay me!!!

Since Benjamin was so well behaved we stopped at BK and he got some apple fries and chicken nuggets. Once again Joshua isn't too thrilled that brother gets to eat "real" food *hehe*. Benjamin finishes his apple fries and then I'm pretty sure he hid his chicken nuggets in random places because I kept finding him eating them later in the evening.

Later on me and Joshua are playing on the couch and Benjamin is playing around with toys. I'm trying to get a good photo of Joshua smiling but the little turd quits smiling every time I click the picture. grrrrrr. Benjamin comes up to us with his toy dog on his head and says " oh no mommy where's my puppy?!" This was hilarious to me... but then again i have an odd sense of humor.. I guess it was one of those 'you had to be there' things. So I tell him its on his head. and we do this over and over for about a half an hour, yea super exciting I know!

After all the pictures of Joshua I took I did get a funny one that looks like he has a tooth. He really doesn't, it's just a reflection off of his gums but it's still a cute picture. Dang my kiddos are cute!!!!


I also attempt to get a picture of all three of us together... yea not so easy!

Nothing much happens the rest of the afternoon. We wait on daddy to get home... which takes forever sometimes!! 5'0clock rolls around and it's time to clean the house. So I do the usual dust, vacuum, quick mop, wipe down kitchen surfaces, and go to do the dishes. When I look in the sink I see this .....
Notice the diaper?! Then I remember I asked Benjamin earlier to throw away Joshua's diaper I changed. Instead of the garbage can he decided the sink would be a better place for it... silly boy!

So I finish cleaning and our friends arrive for some grilling out. We eat dinner and it was super yums!!! Burgers on the grill, pasta salad, and chips. Typical BBQ food. It's now time for Benjamin to head to bed but he was being such a good that we let him camp out on the couch until he fell asleep.


After the boys are asleep it's adult time woo hoo!!!! We hang out with our friends and have a good time then its bedtime for us. Pretty normal day... nothing too exciting but of course never a dull moment in our household!
